MEET PEPPER! Pepper is happy, playful, and sweet! She loves to run and play with her dog friends and enjoys snuggling with her humans. Pepper enjoys sitting on your lap or sprawling out on her back to 'help' you watch television and enjoy great weather on the patio.
This slim, petite girl walks well on leash - perfectly with the use of a halti. She needs a fenced backyard and a friendly dog companion. Her face *lights up* when she sees children. T he kiddie pool and big, bouncy-balls are two of her favorite things!
Pepper is an excellent car passenger and enjoys jaunts to the store -- where she makes everyone smile. Pepper is a bit of a princess and she is very dainty and gentle when taking snacks. She knows how to "sit" and wait for treats, even with commotion going on around her.

Pepper is strong, attentive, tenderhearted, and anxious to please. She is still a baby and needs potty reminders when coming back indoors after play. Pepper's three basic emotions are "joyful" "content" and "confused/cautious" - she has never once shown anger, and she's a delight to be with. She will make her new family smile every day.

Better Days' professional trainer has evaluated Pepper and pronounces her a "lovely dog who will make a great addition to a family."

Questions or want to meet Pepper? Please complete an adoption application!

Our fees, policies, and a link to our adoption application are on our home page at We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio or photos are updated.

**IMPORTANT** If you are reading about this dog on a pet search site, PLEASE navigate to our animal list  and read the dog's entire profile.
Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters. The dog's status will show "available" "pending adoption" or "adopted." As long as dog is "available" we continue to accept applications.

We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
