**Our puppies are placed in the Phoenix metro area,
for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption)
and for access to our veterinarian. Sorry, no exceptions.
Gracie's adoption begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until
she has completed Puppy Kindergarten (Basic Training) and Canine Good Citizen (Intermediate) training.
Adoption can then be finalized.
Gracie is probably smarter than most of the humans you know ;-) She can open doors, notice the tiniest things, and is very in tune to what's going on around her. She is funloving but is capable of being calm (for short periods) and patient, and she is very gracious in play.
Gracie’s new family must already have at least one friendly, playful, well-adjusted dog who is similar in size and energy level to Gracie. A well-trained dog who will readily play hard -- but who'll also readily calm down -- would be a great match for her. Gracie is sweet but would overwhelm a small or elderly dog.
Gracie needs a large, fenced yard to run, play, roll, and tussle with her dog-friends.
If you believe you're a possible match for Gracie, please complete an adoption application! Please include information regarding your experience with this breed, and also with raising and training a puppy.
Our fees and policies are on our home page at We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio or photos are updated.

**IMPORTANT** If you are reading this on a pet search site, PLEASE navigate to our animal list and rea  d this dog's entire, detailed profile.

  • "Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)
  • "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly dog that lives in the same household.
  • We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.

Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters. As long as dog is designated "Available" we continue to accept applications.

We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption applicationNO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
