1. We are still accepting applications for this dog.

2. PLEASE visit our site to read details and sign up for updates (new photos, video, details).

3. Due to the emergent nature of our current intake project, we're doing our best to review applications, interview, and homecheck. We are unable to answer the influx of emails asking "is this dog available?” “how old?" and "how much?" This information is on our home page and on the dog’s profile (or it will be, as soon as it’s available!)

4. We are all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application.

**Cinnamon will be placed in the Phoenix metro area,

for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption)

and for access to our veterinarian and trainer. Sorry, no exceptions.

Adoption of Cindy begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until

Basic Training and Intermediate (or Canine Good Citizen) training are completed.

Training will begin on the timeline set by the rescue; once complete, the adoption can be finalized.

THIS PROFILE WILL BE UPDATED AS NEW INFO BECOMES AVAILABLE.  Cinnamon needs a calm, friendly similar-sized dog in her new home! (Preference will be given to applicants with at least one healthy, active similar-sized dog.) loves snacks and chasing the tennis ball. Like her siblings Jack and Westley, Cinnamon came from a situation of far too many dogs and not enough resources or attention. Our volunteers are working with them to help them adjust to suburban living.
As we learn more about her, we will update Cinnamon’s profile and post more details. Our suspicion is that she will like humans of all ages, but families with children should only apply if the youngest child in the home is over the age of twelve years, please.
While Cinnamon is being thoroughly vetted, we’re learning more about her and will update her bio with details. Her name appears on the pull down menu on our online adoption application and we’ve begun searching for her new family. However, please know that her requirements are somewhat fluid as we continue to learn more about her health and personality.
Cinnamon will not be placed with small dogs, cats, or other smaller pets.

  • "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly, playful dog that lives in the same household.
  • "Fenced yard" means, a private backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.) If the dog's bio indicates a pool is required, this refers to an in-ground functioning pool that is located in the private, fenced yard adjacent to and connected with the residence.
  • Gates must have padlocks and thresholds (cement or buried pavers to prevent digging.)
  • Yard and patio must be free of debris and have room for dogs to run and play on a lawn and/or a very shaded area.
  • We do not place dogs in situations where there are "drained" or empty swimming pools, which are a fall hazard and contribute to the propogation of mosquitos.
  • We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.
