YES we’re still accepting applications for Autumn!
Autumn will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Sorry, no exceptions.
Autumn’s adoption begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until she has completed Basic and Intermediate Obedience training courses; adoption can then be finalized.
Autumn is a very active, happy, and funny dog! She runs and plays for the love of moving. SHE IS AS FAST AS A ROCKET. Maybe faster - full of energy! Most of the time she is grinning, but she's a master of many expressions and enjoys being silly.
Autumn is a sweetheart and an athlete, very petite, needs active guardians who are home most of the time and enjoy running and hiking daily. She would love a happy, very playful dog friend her size to help her burn off her endless energy. Absent another dog-friend, she would enjoy a busy social life with human and dog friends to keep her busy and engaged.
If you feel you are a potential match for Autumn's needs, please complete an adoption application! Please include information regarding your experience with raising and training a very young dog.
  • "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly, playful dog that lives full-time in the same household.
  • "Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)
  • Gates must have padlocks and thresholds (cement or buried pavers to prevent digging.)
  • Yard and patio must be free of debris and have room for dogs to run and play on a lawn and/or a very shaded area. Please don’t invite us to your home if you’ve not yet landscaped your yard!
  • We do not place dogs in situations where there are "drained" or empty swimming pools, which are a fall hazard and contribute to the propogation of mosquitos.
  • Last and not least, we DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.

Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
