**
Our puppies are placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Sorry, no exceptions.
**
Adoption begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until Puppy Kindergarten (or Basic Obedience) and Intermediate Obedience Training are completed. When pup is 1) spayed/neutered and 2) training is complete, adoption can then be finalized.

_____Please Note!! We've received inquiries on Alyce from email addresses that cannot be reached by our replies. Please complete our online application if you're interested in Alyce!!_____

Meet Alyce, who found herself wandering the hot desert in a rather bleak and agricultural area of our metropolis. Alyce was pretty scared in the crowded shelter - and when someone finally came looking for her, Alyce realized she had never seen them before!

Alyce now has safe, comfortable accommodations where she is enjoying lots of good food, love, fun, and plenty of rest and she's feeling less anxious by the day!

Alyce will make a great running partner and a great playmate for another dog her size. Her new family must already have at least one friendly, well-adjusted similar-sized dog. Alyce warms up to male humans once she realizes that they are gentle and kind. A new dog-friend will really help her to relax and have fun in her new family! Alyce is very slim and very gentle, but until she receives training she will be a bit much for young children.

If you believe you're a possible match for Alyce, please complete an adoption application! Please include information regarding your experience with very active breeds.

IF you are looking for a dog that could easily be Alyce's brother, please visit Reggie's page!

We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio, photos, or status are updated.
  • "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly, playful dog that lives full-time in the same household.
  • "Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)
  • Gates must have padlocks and thresholds (cement or buried pavers to prevent digging.)
  • Yard and patio must be free of debris and have room for dogs to run and play *on a lawn and/or in a very shaded area.* Please do not invite us to your home if you have not yet landscaped your yard!
  • “Swimming pool” means a private, in-ground, year-round pool that is available to the dog daily or multiple times per week.
  • We do not place dogs in situations where there are "drained" or empty swimming pools, which are a fall hazard and contribute to the propogation of mosquitos.
  • Last and not least, we DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life will take them.

Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption applicationNO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
