MEET MOE, aka MAE WEST!! If you're looking for a happy, healthy, young-at-heart, well-trained dog, Moe's your girl! This Chocolate Lab mix loves to play ball and fetch - and of course, keep-away! She has a great sense of humor and will be the love of your life. Moe is excellent in the house, house-trained, uses a doggie door, and charms everyone she meets. She's cordial with other dogs and will be best as an only dog with a strong pack leader.

Moe received all A's on her report card from a professional dog trainer. She heels, sits, lays down, and stays - perfectly! She's a fast learner so you can teach her all kinds of things! Her foster mom taught her to get her leash when it's time for a walk. She says, "Get the leash!" and Mae grabs the leash off of the doorknob and immediately brings it to get leashed up!

Moe also knows to sit before going out the door or gate, and before getting into a vehicle. She sits until she's told, "Ok!" She is sooo smart and knows the words ball, bone, and leash - and brings them all on command.

Moe's perfect adopter will play with her, walk her, teach her new things, and perhaps take her hiking and camping. She absolutely LOVES outdoor activities and wears a backpack on hikes and carries her own water! She simply loves any activity with her human and loves adults and children so much she could be a therapy dog. She's affectionate but rarely licks a stranger - doesn't jump up, just wags her tail, smiles, and relishes those pats and lets you know how much she enjoys the attention!

Moe enjoys hugs, ear scratches, belly rubs, and will be your best friend. She is the perfect mix of giving and receiving affection, but is not pesky. She adores car rides and has perfect car manners. She's a very calm passenger, sometimes sitting up straight to see where you're going. She also loves to put her head out the window, and she sleeps contentedly on long trips. Moe knows the difference between in-town driving and freeway driving. Once on the freeway, she opts to take a nap.

Moe is spayed, current on vaccinations, and is microchipped, and is a very healthy girl!
